How to use VideoCom Presenter as a Camera in Webex Meetings

Webex Meeting’s Share feature is an incredibly easy-to-use tool that provides any user in a default space a way to display their screens or windows of their choice. In another blog post, I even showed how to capture VideoCom Presenter slides with Webex.
In this blog, I'll focus in on VideoCom Presenter's built-in virtual camera feature that will work just by running the Presenter program, and how the different methods to display your Presenter slides onto Webex.

Method 1: From the Share content
In Webex, click the Share content button and then select Camera. On the list of cameras, select VideoCom Presenter and then click Share.

Share button > Select VideoCom Presenter > Click Share
Method 2: From the Video Options settings
In Webex, go to your Video Options settings and select VideoCom Presenter on the camera list. You can get to these settings in two ways: before starting or entering the meeting, or inside the meeting room.
To change the camera settings before starting the meeting, click the Video Options arrow button, and then under Camera, select VideoCom Presenter.

Before meeting: Video options arrow button > Camera > VideoCom Presenter
To change the camera settings inside the meeting, click the same Video Options arrow button, and under Camera, select VideoCom Presenter.

In the meeting room: Video options arrow button > Camera > VideoCom Presenter
When done correctly, your camera preview will then change to the current slide you have on Presenter. If your camera view appears mirrored, don’t worry - your audience won’t see the mirrored version, but to your self-view, Webex will mirror the camera by default. You can change these settings anytime by going back to Video Options and selecting Settings, and then unchecking Mirror my video view.

Uncheck `Mirror my video view` to remove mirroring in preview
Syncing your stage for everyone
Once you have one or more participants in your meeting room, you can prioritize what you want your participants to see on their Layout screen. Good to note that only the host has this ability in the meeting.
To do this, click Layout at the top corner, and under the Stage section, enable the option Sync my stage for everyone.

Layout button > Stage > Sync my stage for everyone
This will greatly help your audience see your Presenter slides above all other participants' cameras.
